Hydrocycling

HYDROCYCLING is a modern form of aerobics performed using purpose-built bicycles located in water. Owing to the environment in which the training takes place, the pressure on the joints is reduced, while additional water resistance makes the muscles work more intensely. This helps burn fatty tissue and increase stamina, while keeping joint strain at a safe level.

This form of training is ideal for all those wishing to improve their physical fitness, as well as those who sustained an injury, wish to fight obesity and for the elderly, for whom training outside a water environment could involve too much pressure on the bone structure, the respiratory system or the cardiovascular system. During the training session, the skin and the muscles are constantly being “massaged” by the water, which is set in motion by the participants themselves. This increases blood supply and nourishment of the muscles and the skin, which in turn helps reduce cellulite. Dynamic music that accompanies the training makes it more enjoyable and acts as a motivating factor.

Hydrocycling is a wonderful form of training that improves physical fitness and blood circulation, as well as increases lung capacity. For people with injuries, it helps fight muscle atrophy and increase muscle strength weakened by, for instance, long-term immobility. The aerobic form of training has a slimming effect on the body, increases stamina and facilitates the secretion of endorphins, i.e. “the hormones of happiness”, which improves the mood of the participants.
